King Shocks Tour Tuesday morning, approximately 8:30AM. I have just arrived at the production facility for one of the most well known and respected shock companies in the business, that of King Shock Technology. I had been anxiously awaiting this shop tour since being promised access by Brett King during a testing session in Barstow a few weeks back. Walking into the front door, I am greeted by Brett. I am asked to take a seat for a few minutes, while he finishes an important order. I would soon be given a behind the scenes look at what takes place on a normal day at King, a family owned and operated business. Upon walking into the shop, I am surprised to find a staff genuinely interested in what I was doing there. I honestly expected some grumbling about getting in their way, as everyone seemed to be extremely busy, but instead found them more than willing to show me around and answer questions. I still tried to lay low, and not interrupt the goings on in the shop. The real heart of the visit was a shock rebuilding demonstration given
by Brett himself. While he looked for a suitable candidate, I walked around
the shop and snapped a few photos.
