Well picked the truck up today and just got home about an hour ago. Going to try and work on a few things tomorrow like putting the factory headlight/turn signal harnesses back in, mount the GPS antenna, try and get the factory trans lines out of the trans. The two guys at the shop couldn't do it.

Yeah, feels great to have it home. Forgot how fun it is to drive like a normal truck. Waiting on the radiator fan relay to come in (left it as Steve's shop) so I can wire those up, getting a new battery (old one barely started the truck) this Saturday and then drive it to work for a couple days and then straight to smog (tags are expired).

Then off to get some paneling on the front done and then wiring. Hoping first trip to be about mid-February

Feels great, I drive it locally right now. Hoping to smog it by Friday. Just isn't quite dirt worthy, but soon enough.

Well I have been fixing small issues since I got it home. The one that had me stumped for over a week was the ECU not communicating (found out when I went to smog it). Tried a working ECU out of a friend's brothers truck, still no luck. Did some looking around under the hood AGAIN and finally found some snipped wires (think it was the wires going to the plug for the ABS), reconnected and had a communicating ECU again. But now it is throwing a couple of codes, so going to try and fix that today.

Took the truck out for a short little cruise, not too far since the tags are still expired (pending smog)

Picked up an 8" VisionX HID at the swapmeet along with PTT buttons, new antenna mount and a GPS cover....

Well decided to FINALLY plumb the oil cooler (which is actually the factory trans cooler), went and picked up 10ft of -8AN hose and fittings. To take out the old lines and run all the new lines (including boiling water to slide the hose on the fittings), took maybe an hour and half total.

And ended up with no leaks, so I am a happy camper!

Well took the truck to Castle Fab last week to get a few small things finished up....

Battery switch mount...

ECU and Fuse box mounted...

Horns mounted...

Overflow mounted, just need to get fittings for it...

Well got the truck dropped off this morning for the wiring and front paneling to get done. Wiring will take approx. 2 weeks.
