I always have something to look forward to but I don't have to have my car running every weekend. Everything about this has been 100% amazing and I couldn't be happier about the way its going. And the best part is we are only half way done with this season!

I agree! Great idea Pahl

I totally agree. Marland is racing but requested RS. I wanted to get more in-car of us passing him!

No we start in front of the 50 or so 1450. Other than a few faster trucks, I don't think the majoirty of them will catch us.

Yeah the last few years have always had 5-10 1300 cars. The problem is many of them are V8 buggies so we may end up behind them. Oh well every car that enters is more possible points for us.

There are 5 people withing 20 points of us (about the amount you can make up in a race). 3 of those are 1450 trucks. That said only 1 of them really has a chance at high points at the night race IMO. If we finish, we will be looking good. The next real test is the Novermber race since it is a double points race like the last race. That is when we want lots of 1300 cars. This race and the Wall race we just need to finish as best we can!

The race Erik is getting ready for is the MDR California 200, aka the Night Race, aka Truckfest. August 14th and it starts at 7:30 pm! It's the biggest party (i mean race) of the year for MDR!

Zac- Erik isn't going to use my HIDs. If you need lights let me know...well let him know. He has 4 HID spots just sitting in his garage!

Hell Yes rear start! I'd kill myself keeping up with the red skittle. Its red because he/she is out for blood.

According to the Starting Order List we start after 1450, and if thats the case it will like driving through a wreaking yard of trucks the first lap.

Interesting. And yes, we are going to see a TON of broken Rangers and Toyota's out there! If it's anything like last year, dust will be a big issue on the first lap. This race should be sick awesome!

Update on the green skittle:

Well it was good thing that i pulled the trailing arms off the car when I did. I have cracked shock mounts, three cracked tubes here and there on the arms, and the tubes where the bushings are held are egged out from the last 7 years of abuse. according to 5racer they were about to come apart. But again I guess I am lucky. I still have to repair the crack going into the bottom tube of my front beam. I can not say whether I am going to make this race or not. A lot depends on the time i have to get the car back together. the arms are not going to be done for another week or so we will see what happens. Oh and i have a joint bank account with my fiancee now so times are a little tighter all of the sudden :( . We are saving money for the in case we have a baby in the next few years. Still super excited for the next race whether i am racing, pitting, co driving, or partying its gonna be a blast.

YEEEEEAAAAAAHHH!!!!
