Seams legit. You 2 are a day late and a dollar short to the SS 12 party. It's ok, I wouldn't want to hurt your egos too badly with all you guys expeareance compared to myself. ;)

More like your car self destructed too early. Too bad you wont have a gun for the title fight. No doubt Eric and I are going to have to dual. We will probably settle it outside of a race and who evers car is slower which will most likely be mine one will have to go to the drawing board for a little more pep in the step. For a little more of an even playing field.

You could bump up the compression and get a plenum.

Whats the difference between a plenum and non-plenum motor? Are there other mechanical changes that are made other than the intake & tuning? Is there an hp difference or power curve change only?

Zac, I talked to Jimenez before I started the engine to get break in rules, I asked him if he had a build sheet on the engine, he said the CR is 11:1 & to set valves at 0.006. Same as yours?

Stu, I asked Jimenez and he said .006... I asked zero tolerance and he said no, .006.

I'm gonna give that a try. I could see how zero tolerance could add contract pressure to the rocker assembly.

Does anybody crack check their CV cages or does everybody just visually inspect them and the stars, cages etc.?

I mag all of mine. But the problem with the cage is that it gets a wear mark that rolls up a small lip of material that looks to be a crack but it is not.

Crack check stars and cages, axles and everything else...

Plenum vs non Plenum = 2 stroke vs 4 stroke. Higher freer rev, more top endy in the Plenum we had and the non was more bottom end not as pipey. Plenum finikier (sp?) on the jetting; Jorge maintained both and does a killer job! You got a great car and fun to drive, we added a bypass that Kent built on my 10 car that had the same rear set-up and it killed it! I know Kirkmeyer-Fiber-Care Racing changed my old 10 to Kings and may still have the old hand built Kent shocks they want to off that'd bolt right on and that there would be killer...
