Erik's New Car

Well I bought one! I have been looking for quite some time, but haven't found one that I would be happy with long term. I wanted to get a car that was race quality, and at least as fast as the old car. This car fits the bill to a tee :) It was built by Penhall in the early 90's, and hasn't changed much since then (double coil over in front, torsion in rear, drums, old Kuster shocks etc). I was pleasantly surprised to find out a 15 year old 5 Car would smoke my old bug. Picked it up in Ventura on Saturday morning, stopped by Kartek, and cruised to Lucerne Valley for the rest of the weekend. We had a blast, and I am stoked to have a car again. I don't plan on racing it until I finish the construction project I started. Hopefully by end of 2008 I will be dicing it out with the Ingold's again (sorry Bill it has a type 4 :( )
I will post some specs a little later today, maybe snap some more pics tonight.

We will probably cruise down for the New Year's race, hopefully KC will be racing, so we can use this as a prerunner :)

No Dennis Boyle. I guess Richard Boyle and a partner (don't know his name, maybe Ron?) had it built back in the day. It was originally a full bodied car I guess

this is to funny the kid that works part time for me was asking me about thjat car i said how can you go wrong looks like he waited to long .you do know though that the car is the cheap part lol congrats eric see ya on the entry list soon
