Not to offend anybody here, but that is the stupidest thing I have ever seen... Almost, but this one is right up there. Props to him for ruining a brand new truck IMHO. The Donahoe Tundra will kick it's ass and slap it's mamma!

Thats definitely a really nice truck but why would someone go through the trouble(and money) of changing a A-arm to a I-beam design? I know I-beam designs are cheaper, but after you change everything over to a I-beam wouldn't that equal the cost of a really nice A-arm design?

Also, another note on the truck. Before getting beams it WAS a TRD 4x4.

It just gets me... The Tundra that Kreg Donahoe built ( pictured below if I did it right) took so much time and effort to do to make a bitchen A-arm setup that will kick ass and take names. One of my best friends owns it, that's why it gets to me. The fact that it took so much time to design and engineer correctly, to make it the badest Tundra out, and then Mcneil goes and puts beams on one and is done with it. It's like that took hardly any effort at all to throw beams on it, laziness if you ask me. 4-linked or not the Donahoe Tundra will still kick it's ass in the dirt.

Elca, didn't the Donahoe Tundra roll on the 57 Fwy onramp @ Temple? What a shame. I agree that the DRE Tundra was definitely a more thought out suspension, Kreg knows his stuff. But Perry has been racing for a while too. And although he doesn't have a rep for making cleanest or most well engineered stuff, it definitely gets the job done. I would have kept the arms, but beam conversions have been known to work before (Herbst Chevy prerunners).

Yup, he lives right off of Temple, he rooled it the week before Christmas. But now it is completely fixed and is sitting in Kreg's shop getting even more stuff put on it then before. Now it will have a Currie rearend with disc brakes, bigger Deaver leafs that will put out 25" of travel, and new Walker Evans Racing wheels instead of APP's. Also they are throwing out the BFG Projects and either getting BFG All Terrains or Goodyear GSA Projects. Plus a bunch more horsepower from TRD.
