From the moment you pop in this new release from Travis Siflinger and Brian Kadar, it becomes apparent that the long hours it took to put this video into its final format were well worth it.
Lightening the mood, the opening scene is very soft, yet at the same time very energetic. With photos from the years past, the opening scene portrays the highlights, and lowlights, from every trip that the Dirt Alliance Crew has embarked upon. Once you begin to adjust to the soft music and tranquil attitude, the movie rapidly changes direction; the beat changes and the roar of the throaty V8 powered FORD Ranger of Ray Butcher wipes above the camera at full speed, and onto a long, whooped out straight away. The very beginning of the movie highlights some very short shots of the Dirt Alliance Team Members; some of those would include Ray Butcher, Tim Shedarowich, James Holguin, Nick Brion, and Chad Leising, just to name a few.
As the video continues to progress, a personalized section is put together for each Dirt Alliance Team Member. With each individual section, the video showcases some of the best highlight clips from years of fun in the local high desert, Glamis sand dunes, and Ocotillo Wells. Along with top of the line video footage and editing skills, the Team Members' section entails a song to go along with their own personal style; this helps to keep the viewers on the edge of their seat and to keep them guessing what the video will throw at them next. A different style of capturing footage, as well as different artistic
Along with choosing a different style than the rest, Travis and Brian decided they would throw in exclusive interviews with a few of their Team Members. In these interviews you will find the drivers giving specifications of their vehicles shown in the video, along with giving the viewer their own perception of what they see in the sport.
The DVD does not only feature the Dirt Alliance Team Members, rather it incorporates some of the past events and desert trips. Mixed between the personalized sections features vehicles you may see driving down the 405 on a Friday afternoon. These vehicles are owned by offroad enthusiasts who love the sport, just as much as the Dirt Alliance Team Members, and it’s good to see them carry the spotlight in a video every once in a while.
Not only does this video entail the highest of quality shots, but the artistic angles and editing skills help this video get better, and better, with every passing second. If this sounds like a video for you, pick up a copy for yourself!
