MDR Plaster City - Bud Light Dash After long talks and disputes about heading to the race, I packed on some necessities, camera and the ice chest, and hit the road. Once I arrived in El Centro, a fellow forum member and friend, Cameron Butcher, gave me some ideas on a hotel to stay for the night. I checked into the Ramda right off I-8 and went straight to contingency with Cameron. We hung out for a while and talked with some familiar faces, while being introduced to some new ones. Around 9 p.m., we decided to head out and grab a bite to eat in town. We stopped at a small Mexican place, and boy did it hit the spot. Race morning comes, grab a pop-tart and a Red Bull, healthy I know, and headed off to the course. The night before we had talked with some of the racers and they gave us the heads up on where some hot spots for spectating were; off to MM37 we went. Once we arrived, they drivers were right! A set of triple down arrows that dropped into the wash would be a perfect spot to catch some drivers airing it out. See for yourself below! I would like to thank Cameron for the hospitality at the race, I will definitley be heading down more after my first time experience.
