Andy McMillin ready and prepared for Baja 250

Replacing the ever popular San Felipe 250, the SCORE Baja 250 starts in Ensenda, rocketing out of the city through the famed Ensenada wash and out to the now legendary jumps at Ojos Negos, finally ending in the wine growing region of Santo Tomas. The course features a variety of terrain including many graded road sections that will undoubtedly produce some of the highest top speeds seen in off-road racing today.

Andy will be driving the entire 216 mile race in the McMillin Redbull trophy truck. Prepped by McMillin Racing, the midnight blue McMillin Redbull trophy truck features the newly “wind-tunnel” tested body design. The McMillin Redbull trophy truck is set up specifically for this high speed course.

After pre-running the race course, Andy had this to say about the upcoming race, "I know this area like the back of my hand, this is my backyard! It is going to be a fast and furious race. The battle for positioning off of the start will be critical. We are starting out in 18th so we have our work cut out for us. Dust and traffic are going to be the main obstacles in this race. Our truck is ready, and I am ready.”

With a record number of entries, including over 375 entries from 15 U.S. States, Mexico, Canada, England, Italy, and New Zealand, traffic will undoubtedly be an obstacle. Andy will be battling the 36 Trophy truck entries as well as the 37 Class 1 cars, including his uncle Mark McMillin. Andy’s cousin, Daniel, is also entered in the highly competitive Class 1/2 1600 cars.

Be sure to come by the SKG Motorsports trailer during contingency to get a free autographed hero card and stickers. Andy will be signing autographs at 1:00pm.
