Toyo Tires® Extends Crandon Raceway Sponsorship

Cypress, California –Toyo Tires® announced it has extended its sponsorship of Crandon International Off-Road Raceway, located in Crandon, Wisconsin. Toyo began as a major sponsor of Crandon in 2005, now extending their contract through 2008.

Located next to the town of Crandon, Wisconsin, Crandon International Off-Road Raceway is considered the pinnacle of Championship Off-Road Racing, a highly popular short course off-road racing venue spanning the United States known as the CORR Lucas Oil Racing Series.

In addition to extending their sponsorship agreement, Toyo Tires® has become a contingency sponsor for the Forrest County Potawatomi Chairman’s Cup Heavy Metal Challenge and the Borg Warner Shootout from Crandon International Off-Road Raceway. The FCP Chairman’s Cup race is run in June and is the longest running challenge race of its kind in the United States. According to Stan Chen, Manager of Events and Motorsports, Toyo Tire (U.S.A.) Corporation, “We are excited to be a part of this historic racing venue. Crandon is the epicenter of short course off-road racing and is supported by an extremely enthusiastic community and its spectators.”
